Ingredients:

New Mexico chili pods hot / I used a handful of them.
Two tablespoons of mild New Mexico red chili powder
1/2 cup onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
salt
Chicken base about a teaspoon and half
1 1/2 teaspoons Mexican oregano
4 cans the small cans 1 lb(hominy)
1 pound and half ex-large shrimp, peeled and cleaned
Garnish
lemon or lime oregano and onion
